The Star Catholic Coding world was a small project completed in cooperation with Logics Academy exclussively for the Star Catholic Division in Canada. While small, it was still an exciting and fun build, with a wide degree of creative latitude on my part. To save on budget, many structures from my Flatville world and some of my other worlds were donated to fill out this creative coding build plate.
Four NPCs, and a re-modelled/re-textured agent were also created for this experience.
Star Catholic requested that the agent be re-textured and re-modelled to resemble a early primary, programmable robot. I think it looks pretty cute.
I went with a little more hair and beard texturing on this NPC than I usually do.
These other educator NPCs are modelled on real life individuals that work at Star Catholic.
Having opporuntities to create NPCs that represent people in real life, has given me the chance to excercise and improve my skills at creating hair, makeup and facial features.
Likewise, having plenty of examples of real life people in Blockbench has provided me with many clothing styles and clothing textures from many eras to experiment with and improve costuming skills.
